Through this trip you will be able to know the magic surrounding the fascinating city of Arica, appreciating its ancient architecture, the spectacular millenarian chinchorro culture and its vestiges remembered in the Archaeological Museum of San Miguel de Azapa. You will enjoy the wonderful landscapes present in this coastal desert that thanks to its pleasant climate captivates thousands of tourists every year. You will also get to know incredible volcanoes and imposing lagoons surrounded by a brilliant sun, characteristic of the Chilean highlands and one of the main attractions of the Lauca National Park, the impressive Chungará Lake.
Day 1. Arica - Socoroma - Putre
Departure from your accommodation to the Asoagro Market (typical fruit and vegetable market). Continuing towards the Valley of Azapa ygeoglifos, visit to the Azapa museum, we cross towards the fertile Valley of Lluta, passing through the Town of Poconchile. Cactus Candelabra, Pukara de Copaquilla, lunch in Zapahuira. Visit to the Town of Socoroma and arrival to Putre (3500 m.s.n.m).
Day 2. Putre - Lauca National Park - Parinacota - Chungará Lake - Arica.
Departure to the Lauca National Park, observation of flora and wild fauna. Small Hikes Sector Las Cuevas, we continue to the viewpoint of Chucuyo, passing through the village of Parinacota and viewpoint Cotacotani lagoons Stop at Chungará Lake (4500 m.s.n.m.). Bird watching, then we go to the hot springs of Jurasi to enjoy a relaxing bath. Return to Arica.
